About Us


Since 2012 Karla and David Buchanan have been working to bring this old New England farm back to life. Our 117 acres include open fields, orchards, gardens, and a variety of woodland trails. We share the farmhouse with friends and their young daughter, and welcome a steady stream of visitors and guests throughout the year.


Karla Buchanan has an environmental science background and currently works in healthcare as a business intelligence developer.

David Buchanan, plant collector and cider maker, is the author of "Taste, Memory: Forgotten Foods, Lost Flavors, and Why They Matter".

Fennel, our Wheaten Terrier, runs circles around everyone.
